Explore the heart of rural life in the Mekong Delta on a full-day sightseeing tour of the Cai Be Floating Market, where hundreds of boats gather to trade fruits and vegetables.

Following a pick-up from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, travel to Cai Be by air-conditioned car or van, depending on the size of the tour group. Traveling along the Trung Luong Express Highway, stop en route at Tan An town to look at the picturesque rice fields.

On arrival in Cai Be, set off by motorboat to Cai Be Floating Market, where locals trade fruit and many other commodities direct from their water vessels. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Then wander into the small villages to visit an orchard and fruit plantation.

Cruise along a series of small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong on the way to Tan Phong Island, the green pearl of Vinh Long. Feast on fresh Vietnamese food, and unwind in a hammock until you are ready to move again!

Cycle along village paths, passing fruit orchards and bonsai gardens. Meet the islanders to learn more about their daily life. Then, sail by boat to Vinh Long to reconnect with your bus back to Ho Chi Minh City.
